Travis Fiser - Head  Coach

 Coach Fiser is an All American at Kirkwood Junior College and a  2X All American at the University of Iowa. The Iowa teams he wrestled on were some of the greatest teams Dan Gable ever coached. Each team he wrestled on won National Titles. He placed twice in the U.S. Open. He was a member of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club. Coach Fiser was the Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Iowa. Since he came to Grundy in 1996-1997, he has coached 4 state championship teams and the only Virginia Duals championship in Grundy’s history. He has also coached 2 Freestyle National Champions, 4 All Americans, 29 state champions and 95 state place winners. He has a B.A. in History.

Raymond Webb- Assistant Coach

Coach Raymond Webb was a 2X State Champion for Grundy. He was a member of 2 State Championship teams, one of which was ranked in the top 10 in the country. He is known as the hardest worker in Grundy history. He has coached at Grundy since 1989 season. He has coached wrestlers of all ages from 2-25. He is one of the greatest assets of the Grundy Wrestling Club. He has an A.A. in Law Enforcement and an A.A. in Wildlife Management. He is also a certified DARE officer and a certified K-9 officer.

Tass Robertson- Volunteer Assistant

Coach Tass Robertson was a member of 2 State Championship teams for Grundy, the first was ranked #4 nationally and the second was ranked 20^th nationally. He won the Southeast Regional, Junior Freestyle State, and finished 5^th in the Ironman. He has coached on the Virginia Cadet and Junior National Teams, AAA vs AA-A challenge match, VAC National teams, as well as coaching at Grundy since 1997-1998. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Challenge. Coach Robertson is currently the President of the Grundy Wrestling Club. He has an A.A. in Environmental Management and a B.S. in Business Management.

Kris Stiltner - Volunteer Assistant

Coach Stiltner is a 2X state place winner and is a tough, hard-nosed competitor who drives the wrestlers through a tough attitude and hard wrestling.

Derek Anderson- Volunteer Assistant

Coach Anderson is a 3X State Place Winner as a wrestler and is always there to provide assistance or some strong competition for the wrestlers.

Jon Brown- Volunteer Assistant                 

Coach Jon Brown was a State place winner for Grundy. He wrestled in Jr. College for Itasca in Minnesota. He was a National Qualifier at the NJCAA Nationals. He was two wins away from All American. Jon brings a strong work ethic and college technique.

Patrick Justus- Volunteer Assistant

Coach Patrick Justus was a 4X state place winner and a Beast of the East place winner. He was a member of 2 state championship teams, Both were nationally ranked one in the top 10. He was a member of the only Grundy team to win the Virginia Duals. He has been coaching at Grundy since '06. He is known for his strength and high energy levels.

B.D. Robertson- Volunteer Assistant          

Coach B.D. Robertson was a 3X State Champion, placed 5^th in the Beast of the East, and was ranked #5 in the country as a senior. He wrestled on 3 state championship teams, 3 were nationally ranked the highest being #2 in the country preseason. He was known have great defense on his feet and holds the school record for most near fall in a season. He also holds a B.S in Business Administration.

Albert Childress- Volunteer Assistant

Coach Albert Childress was a 4X State Champion, Beast of the East Champion, and a Freestyle National Champion. He was a member of 2 State Championship teams, Both were Nationally ranked one in the top 10. He was a member of the only Grundy team to win the Virginia Duals. When he graduated he held the most wins in AA Virginia. He was ranked in the top 5 in the country throughout his career ranked as high as #1. He is the only Grundy wrestler to be in Sports Illustrated. He has been coaching since 2004. He has coached little league, middle school, and high school.

Allen Hankins- Volunteer Assistant    

 Coach Allen Hankins has been coaching since 1993. He started coaching Middle School in 2000.  He has become a priceless asset to the wrestling club. He has coached wrestlers of all ages. He is known to go the extra mile for all wrestlers.

Dale Cox- Volunteer Assistant

 Coach Dale Cox has been a key part of the Grundy Wrestling Club since it was formed in 1983. He has been coaching wrestling at all levels during this time. He has helped develop wrestlers, organize events, run tournaments, transport wrestlers, and over all go above and beyond what is expected of a coach. He is known as one of the most knowledgeable mat strategists in the sport and he has a great knowledge of the rulebook.
